Bloomsbury offers a Montessori and progressive educational opportunity for toddlers (15 months) through Kindergarten.
Each year, we hold admissions events including tours, information sessions, open houses, student/parent panels, and more for families interested in learning more about our school.

Are diapers provided?
Families will need to provide diapers, wipes, and cream.

Are meals provided?
Yes! We are proud to share we have a partnership with Real Food for Real Kids, which will ensure all students receive a variety of healthy meal options. More information is available on our "About" page.

What is the curriculum structure?
Great question! Bloomsbury Academy follows an enriched version of the Ontario Ministry of Education’s early learning framework by balancing play-based learning with early numeracy, literacy and social skills development. We integrate a Montessori-inspired learning environment with other evidence-based approaches such as creative inquiry, community-based learning and family well-being.

Is Bloomsbury Academy subsidized by the government?
We are not currently registered with the federal CWELCC program. Becuase Bloomsbury Academy is more than a daycare centre, opting in to CWELCC makes it challenging to offer our high-quality, innovative programming. We are carefully monitoring its impact on childcare quality in the city of Toronto.

How much does the program cost?
We are priced competitively with private downtown programs. We also offer parenting workshops and social events focused on our resident families. Please contact us at hello@bloomsbury.ca to learn more.

What are Bloomsbury Academy's operating hours?
Our regular operating hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with before-care from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and after-school care from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

Is Bloomsbury Academy exclusively available to Elm—Ledbury residents?
Bloomsbury Academy is open to the public. Elm—Ledbury families are given priority and will receive a 10% tuition discount.
